Founded by directors Chris Wood and Terence Burns – former programmers with Epic Games –Tanglewood Games is an established games development studio based in the north-east of England.

As a friendly team of Unreal Engine experts with long careers based at the forefront of this technology, we have a proven track record working with well-known AAA publishers on some of the biggest Unreal Engine titles to date, such as Hogwarts Legacy, Fortnite and Sea of Thieves.

Our depth of knowledge and specialist skill sets come from experience. We’re adept at working both in-house as an integral part of your team and as expert consultants when your AAA game is almost there but needs that little extra support.
